2021 Double Eagle Sauvignon Blanc
From the producer’s Lovall Valley estate, this white is given time in mostly concrete egg, with a small amount of French oak influence. Richly textured and complex, with a velvety mouthfeel and ample ripeness, it shows dense layers of anise, apple and pear.

About the Winery
The Grieve Family Estate Vineyard is located in Napa’s remote Lovall Valley, a unique hilltop bowl that straddles the border of the Napa and Sonoma valleys. Here, fog from nearby San Pablo Bay settles into Lovall Valley’s unique contours, from early evening through midday, making it one of Napa Valley’s coolest regions. The decidedly cooler climate profile, more like Sonoma Coast than Napa, combined with gravelly loam soils and nurtured by rigorous organic farming protocols results in the estate’s distinctive fruit expression and complex structure.
